List of San Francisco Things
As this past weekend I missed out on seeing the Chinatown New Years Parade for the second year in a row. I made the same pledge last year, but hopefully by putting it on electronic paper, it'll be more likely to happen.
This led me to think about all the things I am missing out on in San Francisco. It's a great city and what not, and so far I've loved living here. But I get the feeling I spend too many of my weekends within a mile of our house. I want to see what else is out there and fully enjoy my time in SF.
Basically, I want to compile a list of things to do in San Francisco. As I do them, I want to check them off. So far, I have:
- See Chinese New Years Parade in person (happens only once a year, also weather has to not suck)
- Go sailing
- Go to Arinell Pizza and Little Star
- Go to the Beach
- Go to a public demonstration, rally, or protest
- Go to a public concert
- Go to an unique public event (a la cardboard fight)

do you mean like, the actual beach or North Beach? also i have lived here (or close enough) since landing in my immigrant dinghy and i have never been to alcatraz
obviously I meant both, hence the clever device of capitalizing the common noun.
but in all seriousness, I would like to do both. I'd like to go get drunk North Beach and also I'd like to get drunk on the beach.
There's a great beach on the north shore that, I'm pretty sure Ben Lawson is the only one who knows how to get there. We've built fires there before, it's clean and uncrowded, and the drive there is beautiful. I will go with anyone who wants to.
1. Find out about sensory expansion via connecting electrical diodes to your tongue.
2. Build a green zodiac and commute back and forth to work on it.
3. Ride a motorcycle on route 1.
4. Visit the Exploratorium Tactile Dome.
